...Where do I even begin? Unless you're a masochist, never get into HEROINES let alone pick a favorite out of ANY of their groups.
I woke up yesterday with one of my mutuals frantically DM'ing me to inform me about Kosuzu Moyu being fired from Dresscode. For context, she was both of our favorite Dresscode girls, and now she's just gone?? Over what you say?? We'll never know. A "serious breach of contract" that'll never be elaborated on because why would it.
Now I'm all for firing people causing trouble. Like Hanase Mai and the other iLiFE! egg girls (beside Furiru). HEROINES doesn't have that many actual troublemakers. I mean, not that we know of. Most withdrawals have been due to the girls being in secret relationships. I understand if they're getting with fans, weird dynamic there that I and many others dislike. But if it's just.... someone from their school or something............. yeah it technically is a breach of contract but is it really a big enough deal to make them leave the group? I don't think so. People that do are stupid.
And do you wanna know what just got revealed today? Kagura Hinako, Dresscode's producer, SUCKS. Deathdol (the Twitter account that's the bane of every idol fans existence) posted a tweet exposing the nasty way Hinako spoke to the girls on LINE. Promoting insane diets, comparing the girls to other "skinnier" idols, and just being so unbelievably disrespectful to a group full of teenagers and young adults. And now that that's all come out, there's also been rumors of Hinako having a pretty bad attitude during the Dresscode auditions. I can't believe I was ever excited about her producing this group.
After the expose was made, HEROINES DM'd the Deathdol asking for them to tell them which member gave the screenshots to the account. They also insinuated they'd take legal action against Deathdol if they don't. It's so obvious they're trying to protect Hinako it's sad. Why do they always try to protect the people causing the scandals?? First Hanase "I-give-alchohol-and-cigarettes-to-children" Mai, and now this.
I'll keep supporting the remaining Dresscode girls, but I won't be listening to their music anytime soon... HEROINES is the worst pain in the industry that'll never leave me. I hate them, but I just love the girls so much. I've loved them all for four years now. Yuya, I hate you!!
A little bit ago, I wrote about the recent news surrounding the group Chiitan Bombers (and Chiquita, but they're not todays topic). To summarize, three Chiitan Bombers members announced they'd be graduating from the group and continuing activities in other groups. Cocomi Coco's gone to Chiquita, Himekawa Moe's gone to Meno New Year, and Aoba Eika will be joining Cerisier in August. I wasn't too distraught about these graduations since they're still gonna be in other groups. Plus, my two favorite candidate members, Nanase Sui and Ichinose Ran were promoted. But another round of graduations were just announced..... and these ones have a bit of a kick..
During a performance just recently, Momose Rin, Nono, Koiha Mero, and candidate member Hoshisaki Hirari announced they'd be graduating from Chiitan Bombers on September 13. I did not expect any of these whatsoever. Momorin's been my favorite since I discovered them, she just feels so essential to the group. And Nono's always been my number 2. I've grown really attached to their former seven member lineup. By October, it'll just be Natsume Yukari left from that lineup.

Hopefully this isn't the end of Chiitan Bombers. Chiitan Bombers OSK just opened auditions for their second generation. I'm sure they could find some new members. Or maybe they'll just continue with a three member lineup. Only the future knows...
For a solid two or three months, Yakousei Amuse has been performing with a six member lineup. I don't think anyone (besides Nako fans) had any issues with this lineup, as it was made up of six unique and incredibly strong performers. But that era has officially come to an end now that their two new members, Inori Maria and Kokoro Kyun, have officially made their stage debut. Their debut concert taking place at Toyosu PIT, the show titled "NEW PARADE". As always, they live-streamed this concert to YouTube for free. And I have some thoughts to share.
The show begins with a custom SE, as is tradition for new lineup unveiling lives. The visuals were quite interesting to watch. It referenced Maria and Kyuns assigned Yoruami themes (Moonlit Chapel for Maria, Princess Castle for Kyun), which is just a neat little detail I enjoyed. I almost couldn't take this SE seriously though, because I'm like 99% sure I know which ElevenLabs AI voice they used. I can't recall what it's called, it might be the Santa one, but I've definitely heard that exact voice and cadence before.
Moving onto the actually concert, the setlist consisted of;
1. Yakousei Introduce
2. Twilight Adventure
3. Fancy Popcorn
4. Jelasique Park
5. Digital Tattoo
MC
6. Maji Neverland (New song!)
7. Headliner Girl
8. High-Shout Downer
9. Masshigura Koigokoro
10. Love Melody
11. DENPA DANCE
MC
12. Yoiyami Express
13. Happy Night, Happy Land
14. S.I.G
15. Starry Night Dance
16. Atarayo Planet
17. Exotic Telepathy
MC + Ending
I don't have much to say regarding this setlist. Good songs overall, although having Exotic Telepathy as the final song felt a little anti-climatic. Personally, I think DENPA DANCE would've been a great ender. High energy, very Yoruami, and if I'm not mistaken, it's one of their more popular songs. Similar popularity to Exotic Telepathy, but still.
I really enjoyed the new song they revealed, Maji Neverland. It's another one of their more rock-influenced songs, which are some of their best songs. It's super hype, and even when you're just hearing it for the first time, it's super engaging. The chorus is vibrant and catchy, and throughout the song it really highlights each members strengths. I look forward to seeing this song performed more, I'd like to maybe see a dance practice video or MV come out as well.
Between the two new girls, Maria stood out to me the most. She's got former idol experience, being an STU48 alumni. To me, she gives off this princessy elegant vibe. But that elegance doesn't hold her back from performing Yoruami's more high energy songs. She's got a gorgeous voice, high stamina and versatility, and gives Yoruami that pinch of elegance they've been missing for a while now.
Kyun on the other hand, I feel a bit more critical towards. She's very pretty, and I don't have anything against her personally. But, I'm not sure if adding her, a clear rookie, to a group as established as Yoruami was a great idea. Especially during the beginning of the concert, her energy wasn't really matching with the rest of the group. And even at her highest, she can't seem to project or stabilize her voice as much as the other members. She didn't make it in iLiFE for this reason, why add her to an equally as demanding and high energy group? Compared to the others, her performance came off as sorta lackluster a lot of the time. You could definitely attribute that to nerves and inexperience, and I have no doubt she'll grow as a performer in the upcoming months and years. But to me, I feel like she's much more suitable for a more rookie-ish/less established group. I could see her in CAL&RES or maybe Dress Code, she could've been the pink member of that new group Now Storage as well. Hell, I'd even argue even iON would suit her better than Yoruami. Speaking of which, just when are we getting that new pink iON member? It's been like... a while. Around six or seven months, jeez. No new songs either, not even any solo birthday songs.
I'm getting off track. Anyways, the concert was pretty fun to watch overall. I think my favorite song of the night was S.I.G, I always really enjoy that song. It's just so cool, I don't know how else to describe it. The dance practice video for that song blew me away when I first saw it, I genuinely thought it was concert footage or something at first glance. The concert set design was pretty nice as well. Nothing too crazy, but the lights on the wall in the back seemed to resemble stars in sky... I just thought it looked really pretty.
That's about all I have to talk about today. Hopefully I didn't offend any Kyun fans? ...I do like her, she was one of the people I was rooting for during the iLiFE auditions. But I also understand why she wasn't picked. Thanks for stopping by!
I want to start this article off by correcting my last post talking about these groups, particularly how I introduced Chiitan Bombers’s lineup. Turns out, Shinomiya Anri silently left the group waayyy before I even wrote that article. She apparently left the group sometime before October of 2025 to focus on her studies. I also didn’t mention the candidate girls at all.
Anyways, during the past 6-ish months since I wrote my initial article, I’ve actually became very attached to Chiquita and Chiitan Bombers. I really just love these girls and their performances. Normally I’m not too interested in groups that don’t have much original music and mainly perform covers, but these groups are just different, okay?! Their concerts are always so fun and lively, and I don’t think there’s a single member that doesn’t have their own unique charm, including the 21 OSK kids!!
Both of their lineups have stayed pretty much the same since January, but there’s been a few changes. For instance, back in April Aoba Eika, who originally joined Chiitan Bombers as a candidate member, was promoted to being a full member! She became the new blue representative and oldest member.
Also in April, Chiitan Bombers OSK released their first original song, Meteor Diamond. It’s very cute! I hope to hear more original tunes from them. All their vocals combined are very nice to listen to. This song has a super youthful and sweet sound, and it’s much calmer than Chiquita and Chiitan Bombers debut songs. If you like calmer youthful idol songs, then this song is a necessary listen.
A little before that, Chiquita also revealed a new original song, Dekiai Honey Fall. It’s not on streaming services other than YouTube I don’t think, but it is also a very good song. This song matches Chiquita’s energy as a group so well. It has a powerful but catchy sound, and it’ll definitely get stuck in your head!
Moving on to some more Chiquita news, a little while ago, Rinku announced she’d be graduating from the group sometime in October. It’s quite sad news, but it makes sense. Having to travel from Gunma to Akihabara every week has got to be kind of a pain. Plus she’s still in school, and if idol activities are gonna cut into anyone’s education, it's the girl who travels for two hours from Gunma to Tokyo every week. Still though, it’ll be sad seeing her go. She feels like such an essential part to Chiquita’s group harmony. She’s funny, energetic, and her recent bob haircut makes her stand out even more. I’ll definitely be sure to cherish her for the few months we can still see her active.
And now, we’re finally getting to the real recent pieces of news that made me what to write this. A week or two ago, Chiquita revealed a new member; Tsubaki Miyu, in charge of light blue. She’s a cutie, I can’t lie. I’m looking forward to seeing her perform!
But she isn’t the only new member…
Because just today, Chiquita announced that Cocomi Coco would be joining as their pink representative! Cocomi Coco from Chiitan Bombers! When I first saw the announcement, I was convinced this was just a joke or something for a one-time performance. But then a few minutes later I saw Coco’s tweet announcing that she’d be graduating from Chiitan Bombers and joining Chiquita.
Furthermore, Himekawa Moe and Aoba Eika also announced they’d be graduating Chiitan Bombers and continuing their activities elsewhere. Moerun’s joining Meno New Year, and Eika’s joining Cerisier. Both of these are groups I’ve been aware of but I’ve never really gotten into either of them. Maybe this is my sign to start following these groups? I want to keep supporting Moerun and Eika outside of Chiitan Bombers!
And that’s all the news I have for you today. The Coco, Moerun, and Eika announcements were all announced today, their final performance with seven members being on July 16. Honestly I’m having a hard time comprehending the fact that Chiitan Bombers is gonna be four members. Hopefully they’ll add some new girls, maybe even promote some of the candidate girls. But regardless, I’m looking forward to the future of Chiitan Bombers and Chiquita!
